Five (5) rooftop HVAC package unit replacements and one (1) uninstallation, removal, and reinstallation. The work shall be completed in coordination with a separately contracted roofing contractor performing roof replacement at the same location during the same project period.

The District seeks to replace the Liebert rooftop HVAC system serving Cuyamaca College’s main server room and Main Point of Entry (MPOE) in Building F. Work includes removing and disposing of two existing condensers and two fan coils, then installing and commissioning a new Liebert system with associated piping, supports, and accessories. The work also includes refrigerant recovery, electrical connections, controls configured for Lead/Lag operation, testing, documentation, and warranties.

HVAC Replacement at Fish Hawk Recreation Center RFP
Work includes removal and replacement of four (4) direct-expansion split systems with high-efficiency split system units with dehumidification capabilities via variable speed fans and multi-stage compressors. New condensing units will be mounted on new concrete pads and at grade. New air handling units will be located in the existing mechanical rooms as shown. The existing refrigerant piping and condensate piping will be removed, and new refrigerant lines are to be routed to the indoor air handling units. The existing standalone control wiring is to remain in place for the connection of new zone sensors. New direct-expansion split systems will be provided with their own internal control systems including new programmable thermostats.
