Work includes construction of 8" and 6" water main installed by open cut construction methods, including: pavement removal; trench excavation; water main pipe materials and installation; valves and valve vaults; fire hydrant assemblies including hydrant and auxiliary valve; water service connections; abandonment of existing water main; sanitary sewer removal and replacement; storm sewer removal and replacement; pipe bedding; trench backfill; pavement replacement; driveway replacement; curb and gutter replacement; parkway restoration; traffic control; water main pressure testing and disinfection; and all other work necessary for a complete and functional water main installation as shown, specified, or required.
Install over 520 LF of 6" Class 52 DI water main with new gate valves and permanent blow-off assembly. Remove and replace a fire hydrant assembly, reconnect 10 water services, and abandon existing water main in-place. Work includes temp traffic control, TESC, rock excavation, roadway paving, and removal and replacement of existing landscaping and concrete surface.

The work runs along Amsterdam Road from Park Road in Fort Wright to Hamilton Road in Park Hills, Kenton County, Kentucky. The official posting says bid documents are not yet available for download.
