BoardFillmore Planning Commission Planning Commission Meeting
The meeting focused on a Planning Commission workshop regarding the identification and preservation of 'Fillmore character' in future development projects. Key discussion topics included maintaining the town's small-town, agricultural identity, incorporating local architectural styles, promoting 'neighborly' features like front porches, and integrating elements of the local car culture and history into new designs. The commission discussed ways to avoid mass-produced building appearances and ensure new projects reflect the specific aesthetic and community values of Fillmore.
