Pierre School Board Special Meeting
The Pierre School Board convened a special meeting to discuss and act on time-sensitive matters. The board reviewed bids from two companies for minibus services for a two-year period, with a potential one-year extension. After a thorough analysis of the proposals, the board approved the bid from Forell Limousine and Bus Service, citing it as the lowest cost option. The approved bid included a per-mile charge of $3.59, a minimum trip mileage of 300 miles, and other specified costs for daily shuttles, after-hours service, and driver layovers.
