The committee evaluated a Climate Smart Communities grant of approximately $90,000, weighing the potential financial benefits against administrative and compliance obligations. Additionally, the committee explored land-use and zoning issues, specifically regarding nonconforming commercial uses and recurring variance requests, and emphasized the importance of gathering feedback on business retention and traffic safety.

The Board also reviewed engineering requirements, including dumpster placement and site spill plans, and ultimately issued a favorable recommendation for the variance to the Zoning Board.
The Town Board discussed various municipal matters, including updates on the wastewater treatment plant and the usage of the TextMyGov software platform.
